OUR STORY
The world's most responsible Atlantic salmon fishery.
Just like wild salmon, our fish start their life in fresh water and then graduate to saltwater to mature. Swimming in large tanks that replicate the natural water flow of ocean currents, our salmon fishery is designed to mirror the ocean ecosystem, but on land – protecting wild salmon populations from both disease and overfishing.
“It would be wonderful if all the salmon we eat could be wild. But as one marine ecologist said to me recently, to continue eating large wild fish at the same rate, we'd need five more oceans to support the current human population.”

WILD FLAVOUR
Our salmon are wildly delicious.
Atlantic salmon are the product of millions of years of evolution. By using Nature as our template, we're able to raise a fish that is just as lean and healthy as a wild salmon, with an incredible depth of flavour and a firm texture marbled with healthy fats. All without impacting local fish stocks or sensitive coastal ecosystems!
“I’ve been cooking with Sustainable Blue salmon for years and it’s one of my favourite fish. It's the only Atlantic salmon that tastes like it’s wild. It’s incredible.”

INNOVATION
Closing the loop.
Our land-based recirculating system filters out 100% of effluent and contaminants so that our Atlantic salmon are raised in crystal clear running saltwater. The solid waste from our fishery is used to generate electricity – truly closing the loop on responsible salmon farming.
SUSTAINABILITY
Our goal is absolutely nothing.
We didn't just want to raise fish – our mission is to responsibly raise the most sustainable salmon on the planet. With Nature as our template, our system is designed from the ground up as a closed-loop ecosystem that emits zero effluent into the environment, minimizing any impact on the environment and resulting in delicious, healthy Atlantic salmon.
